In line with the directives of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MOP) to ensure advancement of the petrochemical industry in Egypt, and under the continuous follow-up of the Egyptian Petrochemical Holding Company (ECHEM) supplying the necessary means for growth. The constant and constructive cooperation with sister companies in the sector supplying Sidpec the confidence to continue the progress; Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (Sidpec) was able to overcome various obstacles.

Sidpec celebrated and surpassed the achievement of the production target of 2022 by 116% as every year, despite the challenges and repercussions of the global economic crisis, and regardless fulfilled the needs of local and international markets.

Chairman and CEO, Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim, extended his thanks and gratitude to the employees and the management for the achievements fulfilled during 2022 and further encouraged the team spirit and the support of the balance of payments supporting the national economy as Sidpec has always done since its conception..

He furthermore highlighted positive impact of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on the company’s performance and achievements locally and abroad; highlighting Sidpec’s attention to detail of the human elements involved, which is the backbone of the production process and cornerstone of the aforementioned achievements
