Approval of the proceedings of the company’s Ordinary General Assembly for the fiscal year 2025. took place in the presence of Chemist Alaa El-Din Abdel Fattah, Chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company, as well as leaders from the petroleum sector, representatives of the regulatory authorities, and shareholders. During the meeting, Chemist Mohamed Zakaria El-Afandi , the company’s chairman, affirmed that SIDPEC had succeeded in achieving strong production performance, with ethylene output reaching approximately 233 thousand tons and polyethylene output around 188 thousand tons, in addition to other products that support integration with companies in the sector. He explained that the company continued to strengthen its presence in foreign markets, especially in South America, expanding its exports to 57 countries, which reflects its competitiveness at the international level, alongside its role in supporting local industry. He pointed out that total sales during 2025 amounted to approximately EGP 14.4 billion, while net profits reached about EGP 1.138 billion, despite global challenges related to fluctuations in energy and polymer prices. He added that this performance contributed to the company’s inclusion in the list of the 50 strongest companies in Egypt for 2026, according to Forbes Middle East’s ranking, reflecting the strength of its financial position. At the conclusion of the Assembly’s proceedings, the financial statements were authenticated and the distribution of profits to shareholders was approved.
